Having listened to AMCA since the genesis of the pod, I still find myself really saddened by the pivot. I’ll continue to support them because I do love the show, but I still feel like some of this pivot is much more arbitrary than, say, the SAG strike. I hope that they can get back to Andor. Oh well

Andor is my favorite Star War of all of them and I don’t think it’s close. God this show rules.

Since I'm reading through most of the cosmere as well (I couldn't afford 3 of the standalones but I'll go back to them when I can) I'm understanding a lot more of the connections and the easter eggs.

I love the Stormlight Archive as a whole, but they do tend to have a bit of a pacing problem where the early parts of the book tend to take a long time to really get going, but let me tell you that the catharsis you receive at the end of them is incredible. Also I'm picking up a lot more this time

There are two chapters in Oathbringer that will without fail make me cry. The Girl Who Looked Up, and Unity. Brandon Sanderson does catharsis and growth and radical self acceptance like nobody I’ve ever read.

Oh man I can talk about stuff I like. Ok, so everyone should listen to @morecivilized.bsky.social . It’s a Star Wars podcast and it is amazing. It is literally the only podcast I keep up to date on and I fall asleep listening to old episodes most nights. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I’m getting into the end of Oathbringer. The chapter, if you’re curious, was The Girl Who Looked Up lol

So I’m rereading the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson (seriously recommend his stuff, he’s great, start with Mistborn) and I just recognized a chapter title and remembered what is about to happen. This chapter is gonna wreck me.

I did a bit of research and I think I might go with the Kindle Paperwhite. You can go all out for the colorsoft if you really want to, but it seems like the paperwhite has a lot of the same features. Also the paperwhite and colorsoft are both waterproof which I did not know
