2) First citation in AI Overview
3) Brand/website included in AI answer
Depends on my goals as a business. If itβs to build awareness and drive brand dimensions, I choose the AI overview.
If itβs too correct the narrative in control my story then I choose the citation
If I want to drive traffic while I guess I might choose organic position one.

One of the biggest risks AI introduces is its inherent bias toward controversy.
Once a brand crisis is widely distributed across news, social and search, it becomes part of the data layer AI relies on, making it much harder to control the narrative.
