It's wonderful to live in a country where the Supreme Court works as it should, to block the illegal behaviour of the government! The Qld govt did not seek professional medical advice when they arbitrarily denied access to beta blockers for medically prescribed treatments. Now they pay the price!

The Queensland supreme court has found the Qld government acted unlawfully & must pay costs (that's us).

Thanks Kerry. It was the worst When we were told that the Acute Myeloid Leukaemia was terminal, my husband rang BUPA and was refused care. When finally admitted he was blind and deaf and thus, dreadfully confused. He could not know. If BUPA had said yes prior, it would have saved much heartache.

BUPA outright refused to pay for my late husband’s palliative care. We’d had full cover for 17 years. Only did so when legal action was initiated. Disgraceful and disgusting.
