Nearly all employees within the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) were dismissed in Friday’s reduction-in-force, leaving only a few senior officials and administrative staff.

Special Education cuts have always been at the head of the line. At a school board meeting I attended years ago, school superintendent said, the Special needs don't need anything. The school's advanced students deserve all of the money. I was the only person who called him out on it.
