From my understanding, the administrators/laborers in Hell are the angels that followed Lucifer in his rebellion. Why they would all be kind of on board with the eternal damnation thing despite being created to be great singers and execute God's will has never made sense.
Free Will™ is this weird limiter on God/culpability release that seems to completely bypass the whole omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent part of God's existence. God made it all except the stuff you and your Free Will™ went and fucked up, being all Free and Willing. God could fix it, but FREE WILL!
Eternal salvation is for humans, not for angels for whatever reason. Also, where did Lucifer get the authority and power from to create Hell if it didn't already exist as a place for him to set up shop? Then what, he set up a deal with God to only take the "bad" souls after instigating CIVIL WAR?!

For sure. Looking back, doesn't catholicism just seem like a cult that got really out of hand? With the strict hierarchy, the funneling of money from people of the church toward actions having nothing to do with them (like child abuse lawsuits), the strict guidelines those at the top don't follow...

So, after being aggressively atheist for a while, I re-evaluated my "spiritual journey" & decided that my life wouldn't be worse off if I just removed myself from it entirely. So if I had a label now it'd be "apathetic agnostic": I don't know if God exists and I don't really care either way.
For all God's supposed goodness & divine empathy, God's actions (the only measure by which you can define any being really) show that God solves problems OF HIS OWN CREATION with mass violence, deception, confusion, and unending punishment.
Even if God does exist, why would I want to worship that?
How is it that everything you create and give Free Will™ turns to wickedness, whether it's the one angel with Free Will™ or the vast majority of humans?
How is it that two humans fuck up one time a decision for which they didn't fully understand the consequences, and you curse the species forever?
Remembering the biblical stories I was raised on made God seem super sus! Like how are you infallible but after flooding the world to rid it of its wickedness you later declare "damn that was a bit much. I won't do that again".

My mom's deal with me and my brother was that once we were confirmed we were allows to choose what we wanted to believe in. Once I got confirmed, I chose atheism. I still attended church when mom requested it because it's mom. But otherwise nah. After that, philosophy got really interesting lol
The first time I remember actually thinking "oh this is some bullshit" was when I realized that despite being a generally Good Guy™, by the rules of Catholicism my dad would go to Hell when he dies because he didn't believe in God. From then, I had an eye out for more bullshit.
I fully didn't care about Sunday school. Sitting in the congregation having to pay attention to the service was boring, and being an altar server was excruciatingly boring. So just as a mismatch for my temperament, the seed was already planted for me to never want to be in a church again.
