Was actually using the cover for inspiration. I might actually use this colour scheme for my Warhammer orc army when I get to it, long way off, not even on my Kanban chart.

Will be using the skin colour on my Oathmark Orcs though before then.

Making good progress on the orcs. Standard orc done, on to the Ard’boyz now.

Last night we ventured back into the Skaven infested tunnels underneath Averheim. We were unable to find the quest rooms, but did find 2 new quest hooks. Also we had a cave in, cutting this part of the dungeon off from the rest. Looking forward to next expedition #AHQ #AdvancedHeroquest

Have been making a few extra bit to flesh out my hazards rooms in Advanced HeroQuest. #AHQ #advancedHeroquest

They’re a blast from the past, we had (my dad) had both of those kits in the house when I was little.

Currently collecting the bits I need and want to have everything painted for rangers. Other projects keep getting in the way.

Advanced HQ has some brief solo rules in the rulebook. Only just started experimenting with it, but enjoying. Took to friends house on Sat and we played coop without a GM

I’m heading in the Rangers of Shadowdeep direction, but it’ll be a few years before I’m ready.
Currently playing Advanced HeroQuest solo.

Another on my list for future is Space Station Zero.

He’s cool. Ultramarines do like their bling though!

This evening, a grate was needed to be painted… and painted it was!

That’s a great way of showing off a game. I’m playing the classic Advanced HeroQuest in similar way. Moving round a map and journaling my adventures in the old world. I’m random generating locations and quests.

It also includes some Underworlds Warbands, so I’m killing two birds with one stone.

I feel sorry for my other projects. Back down the list for you 😜

Things have escalated to exploring a map. The heroes are heading to the grey mountains, on a quest to find a wand for a Wizard.

Been hunting through old Warhammer minis to use with Advanced Heroquest. Because the game is set in the Warhammer World, I’ve been trying to keep the minis on theme.

Looks like I’ve got some more painting to do and needs doing very soon.

Wow, Advanced Heroquest doesn’t pull its punches. Survived the quest, just. The irony, if I’d turned left, I would have found the quest room straight away.
Ps. The barbarian needs to wear more clothes of the armoured variety.
