Day 3 of our Waterloo weekend. After Quatre Bras & Waterloo we go back a couple of days to Ligny. Can the Prussians hold the villages of St Armand, Ligny & others or can the French destroy Blucher & split the allied forces? #ligny #valour&fortitude

Aggressive play from the French throwing their cavalry forward. Initial success but Milhaud’s Division is broken! French hussars catch the Lifeguards in the flanks and break them. Lots of worried faces on the Allied side! #waterloo #valour&fortitude

Day one of our Waterloo Weekend at Quatre Bras. Despite the French superiority in numbers the valiant Allied forces hold out for a minor allied victory. Kudos to the Dutch who refused to be bullied out of the village for several turns & the Hanoverian foot who held the right flank. Great fun!

We’re refighting Waterloo next week. So we needed some of the iconic Waterloo real estate. And here it is. Hougemont, La Hay Sainte, Papelotte & La Belle Alliance. All on a reduced footprint so not exact replicas but I think they give a good impression. All excellent Hovels models.
