Customs and Border Protection Again Detain and Deport Crew Members, This Time From Victory Cruise Lines Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently detained and deported crew members from a cruise ship operated by Victory Cruise Lines. I was first contacted

U.S. Customs & Border Protection Detain and Deport Nine Crew Members From Victory #Cruise Ships, Claiming Possession of Child Pornography.

CBP is, apparently, scouring crew members' social media accounts for anything they can use to justify detention. One of the Victory I crew members was detained for a 2008 photo of his newborn being bathed in a bassinette.

They are being forced to sign papers without due process or representation.

4/ The cruise ships can't sail if too many crew leave.

Passenger mood is subdued. The Captain met with the crew & passengers.

The crew cannot talk to the media, or they will be fired.

3/ CBP let the ship's engineer stay, because the boat could not leave the dock without him. They warned the ship he had to be replaced before the boat came back to Detroit, or he would be removed.

Crew morale is terrible, & many are thinking of leaving now while they can.

2/ My source saw photos & video of being handcuffed & taken off the Victory I in view of crew & passengers. Captain was helpless to do anything.

CBP is being given a list of all crew. They are scouring social media for anything they can use to detain the crew, such as the 17-year-old baby photo.

5/ The cruise ship owner is meeting the ship at Mackinac Island with their attorneys, who will be there when the ship docks.

The company's meeting with CBP in Chicago. If they try to take any more crew off, it is said the media will be contacted.

I heard second-hand news from pilots aboard these vessels that 3 crew were removed from one of the vessels in Duluth & 16 were removed from the Viking cruise ships in Detroit.

Supposedly, they were ordered to sign papers dealing with child porn. No due process, no evidence presented.

ICE is raiding cruise vessels at ports around the Great Lakes.

Crew were handcuffed & removed over the last week: at least 16 in Detroit, 3 in Duluth. They were told to sign papers saying they were guilty of child pornography, then they'd be deported to the Philippines.
