Why is the media NOT talking about this? Don't get me wrong, the attempt to strip bipartisan health care funding was barbaric and abhorrent, but it wasn't the real reason. Those acts were diversions.

The media is not talking about the removal of The Outbound Investment Transparency Act (www.congress.gov/bill/118th-c...). This was the primary objective, the health care funding removal was chosen precisely because of the reaction that this would provoke. It worked.

The media has been so hyper-focused on the bipartison health care funding items that were removed from the CR to keep the government running, all of which were abhorrent, these were selected precisely to outrage the public and divert our attention away from the REAL reason that Elon Musk intervened.
