I’ll be honest, I don’t really see a meaningful difference between this and the ragebait version. “Games become obsolete when new versions come out” is still a stupid mindset even if you’re sad about it.

For what it's worth, for most of them, they don't really play anything like mainline kh2/3 at their core (despite some seeming to at the very shallow surface level) so if you want your wannabe DMC for disney adults you gotta wait for a numbered entry.

It's a slippery slope because the line is kind of arbitrarily drawn based on what circle you're in. Is it GF's fault we can't have accessible 5iv 0spd/0atk pokemon, for instance? Or is it "I suffered so others should too"

Genned events are indistinguishable, and the cards you get don't go to Home. I suspect many are gonna gen.

I mean, physical media you need to go out of your way to get is dead. I've been trying to get literally any of the new tcg gen 5 stuff and it's never available anywhere.

Either way, I guess it doesn't really matter. I doubt the switch 2 is getting cracked anytime in the next decade.

A few things seem very similar but whether it's built on top of Engage or made from the ground up as its own thing entirely, I literally could not tell you without more info.

As for "what engine is it in?," no idea. If KT is not involved then jt is for sure not in the Dynasty engine they use. Whether it's Unity again or a Nintendo in-house remains to be seen.

Some of the minimaps you can see in the trailer don't give the best impressions, though, and other elements seem to indicate another round of fully open reclassing. Still, a lot of things show that these are probably gameplay clips from older in-dev builds, so nothing is final.

Now that I've sat with it a bit, I think I'm fairly hopeful for Fortune's Weave. Despite the 3H-esque UI, it doesn't seem like KT is particularly involved here.

3H was frankly a complete regression (FOR GAMEPLAY) so I am hoping they do some more interesting and diverse map design this time around.
