Scientist wearing a prosthetic hand on the left side looks into a microscope in a lab, with a colleague next to her. The Business Disability Forum 'Changing the image of disability' logo is in the lower right corner of the image.
Today we're publishing our research on disability workforce and pay gap reporting.
We found that making it mandatory, as proposed by the UK government, helps measure diversity, but often at the expense of improving inclusion.

Great meetings this week, building cross-business strategies for accessibility. We need to consistently link disability hiring to digital #accessibility buy-in. Internal championing, a sense of internal need, makes a huge difference. This is Horizon 123 thinking.

I still think putting Microsoft Edge on your phone is the best way to demonstrate accessibility to people in everyday conversation. The reader mode exposure for dyslexia, literacy support, font, spacing etc drives awareness.

Can you make this place #Inclusive from the start?
3 simple things:
1. #CamelCase hashtags for readability for #Neurodivergent & screenreader users
2. Add captions on vids for global audience
3. The alt-txt field isnβt working yet so adding img/video description like the next post for now
