A corrections officer in North Carolina was struck by lightning while fishing.
Fishing is the activity with the most associated lightning fatalities in the United States.

Said Buzzards with a Bald Eagle. I have never caught them hanging out before. The eagle has to work a lot harder to fly so it stood out from the Buzzards. The eagle is the top bird in the photo.

Some of the best storms out here aren’t violent.
Sometimes they just quietly glide across the prairie like the buzzards in the sky.
My neighbor rotates planting corn and soybeans every other year. This should be the year soybeans gets planted and they are beautiful in the field. I’m not sure what will happen now.
