18.12.2024 23:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If youโve given this explicit thought, Iโd love to hear about it!
18.12.2024 22:52 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That would mean I should basically avoid most other peopleโs starter packs. Hmmm.
Not sure where this line of thinking will take me. Thinking out loud. but seems particularly pressing to figure out given our challenges ahead.
2) Could be a useful exercise, a la Cal Newport digital minimalism, to define what I want and then see IF this is a tool for that.
Early Twitter that was keeping up with people I already knew and sometimes meeting new people. Emphasis on โpeopleโ
Iโm having a hard time On Here in the same way I did on the bird site: I donโt really have a clear goal for being here, so I followed some starter pack people.
Then I log on, and leave feeling measurably worse than when I arrived.
1) So if you want to reach me, prob best to try another channel
Belated thanks for this reply, it was helpful! Hope youโre well :)

17.11.2024 18:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Headspace is really good, much better than Calm. I never โgotโ meditation until Headspace, so if youโve been meaning to try it and have $35, nowโs a good time.
17.11.2024 17:41 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The thing about the chronological timeline is that if you have something you want to share, you have to share it a lot. And if you see something you think others should see, you have to hit repost (likes are not public).

Word of the Day is as beautiful as it is underused. โConfelicityโ is finding joy in the happiness and success of others.
Honestly not sure, this is my third time on here and Iโm still figuring out the knobs. Maybe itโs because I hadnโt set a display name yet? Does it work now?

13.11.2024 07:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Honest question: why is this place not just Twitter 2.0?
Canโt really bring myself to invest in another place that can be yanked away and not sure why no one else is talking about this
I love this example of how everywhere we look is basically a fractal of human effortโevery single item (and all its components) have been obsessed over by someone else.
Even Cookie Monster cookies!

I read this when it first came out almost eight years ago. It's one of those rare pieces of writing that's simply been in my brain and heart ever since.
If you are lucky enough to be heading to hang out with your parents, grandparents, or young children this week, I hope you read it too.
