Hot take: GOOD

I always hate doing Cutter's because it's happened more than once where the group wipes on the second boss and then struggles to run through the skipped area one-by-one without dying. By then the dungeon has taken longer than if we just AoE'd the skipped mobs in the first place.

Anye is currently single, but longs to be taken ~ 💜

Anye's first language is Eorzean, but her mother also taught her fluent Velodyne (an old southwest Gyr Abanian tongue...it's...it's Irish Gaelic). She's also conversational in Hingan & Hannish, and can speak a little of the Xaelan Steppe language due to working there on a lengthy research trip once.

Anye typically has a low, throaty chuckle, but it can turn into a rather loud cackle that can rattle windows if she finds something to be sufficiently funny. She's a jovial gal, so she laughs often.

She also has a super-secret third laugh when she's feeling 'intimate' -- a sweet, lilting giggle. 💜

IRL and not Anye-related, but...yeah, transition feels like this.

Hard agree on talents & specs. If there's only "one correct build," just get rid of builds and have that be the class.

Also it feels like the removal of talents allows XIV to have more complex (and fun!) rotations than WoW had back when I played. Getting good at a job feels like an accomplishment.

Anye becomes noticeably softer and more eloquent in her speech compared to her usual bawdy self. Despite that though, she also becomes a bit more fidgety and stammery.

She also attempts to flirt. Emphasis on 'attempts.'

Anye was raised by a working-class dockworker family. Cussing and crude language comes so naturally she doesn't even realize she's doing it half the time!

The Queen of Arghyl. Anye's father proposed to her mother by writing a tavern song called "The Queen of Al' Arghyl," and when Anye was born they bestowed that title onto her as a term of endearment. She proudly wears it now in both their memory and the memory of her beloved, now-destroyed hometown.

Anye was obsessed with the Crimson Duelists as a kid and yearned to become a red mage herself when she grew up, owing to them being frequent visitors to her hometown of Ala Arghyl.

She's an excellent fencer now as a result, but still lacks in magickal ability due to an aetherical malady.
