Ah, alas I am old, so I didn't run the late shift tables, and that reduced the number of games that I could reasonably run. My choice, I get it, but still it left me working all the daylight hours. 🀣🀣

Like my brother, I also did the UKGE full-time GM at Birmingham, and it was very good. Have nothing but good things to say about the organisers and the rewards, but I wasn't getting to enjoy the convention. Shopping was 30 minutes between games (or a choice between shopping or eating! Lol).

Waiting for the axe to drop on Gill insulates the government from any Faragist crap about being unfairly targeted. Although he’ll probably try it anyway. I don’t think this story is over.

So the line is that he wasn't getting paid for any of this

Hmm, good question. I tend to buy all the official products but only the third-party products that bring something new to the game, or otherwise tempt me with a good blurb.

Zack Polanski: β€˜People will have to find some other way to hurt me’ | The Observer

"You can agree or disagree with him, but Polanski does not pretend to be something he is not.

He is unusually willing for a politician to give a straight answer to questions.

Does he want to rejoin the EU? β€œYes."

β€œDid Nathan Gill ever say anything you disagree with in return for his bribes from a Kremlin stooge?”

β€œDid you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

You can have those for nothing, lads.

Before Reform, Zia Yusuf was a digital butler to the super rich How Yusuf made his money...

This is vital context to Zia Yusuf's attacks on @zackpolanski.bsky.social.

Few people have paid attention to how Yusuf made his millions.

He sold "ultimate luxuries" to the mega rich.

Yusuf is desperately trying to torpedo the idea that him and his mates should be taxed.

Absolutely. But I think he was lucky to dodge spying laws. Being paid by a foreign country to operate against the best interests of your own. Possible only because it was the EU rather than a single sovereign nation saved him from that.

BREAKING: As Reform UK's former Welsh leader and Nigel Farage associate is sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison for taking bribes to spread pro-Russian propaganda, @peterjukes.bsky.social reports on why it opens the door to a broader investigation of Russian interference in our politics

By pleading guilty, he gets a reduced sentence, and more importantly, there is no discovery phase, which might have revealed other similar associates. Be pleading guilty, he protects those bigger 'men in positions of power'. I wouldn't be surprised if they make sure there is something in it for him.

I’m guessing he’ll be rewarded for taking a dive to protect the kingpin.
