Days 83-100 of #project25365 where I commit to working every day on some type of artistic endeavor.
If you’ve been in an abusive relationship with someone whose assistance you needed, you felt the Oval Office meeting deeply.
It’s impossible to get needs met in that situation without losing critical pieces of yourself.
I am incredibly ashamed of what passes for “leadership” in this regime.
This is what it feels like today. Ugh.
Origami owl

Hyde Park, London
Perhaps my favorite bird encounter of all time. The pigeons in this park are rather used to being fed. I refrained, but snapped these while a squirrel climbed my leg looking for same.

What have I gotten myself into? This embroidery project has a 39 page pattern. Hah! #godzilla
Sometimes this guy thinks my house is a tree but he got it right today. Tree is a tree.
Also: a group of woodpeckers is called a descent

#lefse season!
A crackle or chatter!
Have done.
I got a bonus mushroom with my rubber plant yesterday 💜
I’ve only ever heard gulp for a group of swallows
What is your favorite #collectivenoun?
It’s hard for me to choose. I really appreciate that a group of swallows is called a gulp. But I am equally enthusiastic about a group of #pandas being called an embarrassment.
I haven’t watched much SNL besides old clips of McKinnon in years. @jennpozner.bsky.social validates that aversion with her latest media critique.
Last night I had a dream that involved being unable to navigate through a herd of cows because they had reached the season in which they become squishy (overripe?) and therefore difficult to push past. (They were also green.)
I would like to unsubscribe from this dream feed.
The way so many in the room are attempting to ignore what’s happening . . . I would be in awe.
Not my pic, but I love it anyway...
A group of swallows is called a gulp. It’s one of my favorite collective nouns.
Here are some nice mushrooms
It’s time for me to publicly admit I have *a thing* for collective nouns. Please enjoy this rafter of turkeys in my neighbors yard today.
