Perfection. And yes, well-deserved and GOTY, absolutely blew me away, incredible achievement all around.
After enjoying Paradise Killer a whole lot, this game is definitely cementing Kaizen as one of my favorite and most exciting indie studios. Writing, soundtrack, exploration and overall absurdity and quirkiness are fantastic, love it so much.
My AOTY list 2024. Exceptionally good year in music, the albums in my personal top 12 are basically interchangeable depending on day and mood. Debut album by Better Lovers (ft. members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Fit For An Autopsy, Every Time I Die) is straight up fire, could be no. 1 as well.
My GOTY list 2024. Astro Bot is the best game I played this year, but Indiana Jones quickly became my favorite, LOVE it. Minishoot Adventures is a better top-down Zelda than the one that came out this year, Crypt Custodian and Prince of Persia deserved higher sales, Thank Goodness You’re Here slaps.

One post has to be my first, so why not this one: Finally my two favorite records of the year have arrived. Better Lovers' outstanding debut "Highly Irresponsible" (their EP was fire as well), and Fit For An Autopsy's "The Nothing That Is", another highlight in their excellent discography. Love 'em!
Really good list. Seems no one's been talking about Crypt Custodian, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, glad it's getting some recognition here. Basically Death's Door x Hyper Light Drifter, might actually be my fav indie of the year so far (yet to play Nine Sols and Rise of the Golden Idol).
