Yet, as long as a human’s only concern is survival, they remain trapped within the bounds of animality.

My favorite text by Nietzsche is when he talks about animals.
He says that animals seek nothing but life itself, driven by a blind instinct—that’s all they want: to continue existing.
But humans live with greater awareness.

often find myself thinking about the philosophy of ethics, especially religious morals.
But I’ve always been certain of one thing:
morality is part of what makes us human.
Without it, we are nothing more than animals.

Perhaps it’s not as ideal as religious institutions and their ethics, with all their figures practicing exploitation and oppression in one form or another.
but in a different way.

That’s when I realized they were nothing, and all my values and principles were just confined within the limits of my own mind.
But maybe that’s a good thing for me, to rethink this moral framework and the people within it.
