I straight up just don't get American culture.

Yesterday, my mom told me that she found out that a family member in my direct ancestral lineage was terribly abused at Catholic school. 

Two days ago, I believed my family and I had somehow managed to avoid religious trauma.

So much for the tolerant Federation.
