The House Committee on Disaster Preparedness & Flooding held a public hearing this afternoon. While all 5 bills in the agenda were related to flood response, it was encouraging to hear that flood prevention bills are coming up. Hopefully our legislators make right decisions.

Happening now! Lots of discussions about flood response, while long-term flood prevention seems to be overshadowed this special session.
