Ok my research has told me it is a glue that can be heated for a stronger bond so it's like a liquid based heat n bond... inch resting

I still plan to use it only for basting and mixing some techniques I learned and refined from cowbutt crunchies (gluing non sewables to felt layers cause felt sucks up glue and is sewable) but I notice a lot of professionals use glue basting to properly place things

I'm not a fan of completely gluing costumes cause everyone told me that's bad but seeing professionals use it to glue everything they do is making me reconsider my stance........ tbf they make it for themselves so that's probably different

Like I want to see if it has any difference between american brand fabric/craft glues cause if I can just buy something local instead of spending extra money ordering something that may disappear from our markets (stares at tariffs) I'd rather do that y'know

I finally caved and bought gutermann glue cause it seems to be a favorite amongst european cosplayers but I'm convinced it's just tacky glue??? I'm trying to find a safety data sheet to see what chemical it is but I'm not having much luck

That applique is made out of non stretch material from my scrap bucket and the inaccurate colors was because I had like $20 to spend at a walmart and just chose whatever. The back of the applique isn't attached and I had to have a friend pin it after I zipped up

I took a long break plus getting the flu + uti back to back so I've kind of recovered and things seemed to calm down but going back to work makes my body hurt worst the next day and I genuinely don't get why it doesn't improve lol

gonna try to sand down the teflon bits cause when I tried to use it again it caused thread issues and if that doesn't work I can go buy a new one. I use dry silicone spray for vinyls which negates the need for a teflon anyways so it's not that big of an issue

thankfully I'm getting less demotivated from that happening and just accepting it but I also want to get better at it. Idk it's hard fighting off the frustration sometimes but it's getting better
