While signing books at the #Pride festival in Norwalk, CT, I had the opportunity to meet two amazing queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race: Kandy Muse and JuJubee! They saw my shirt and said they were both supporters of diverse books and the freedom to read. How cool is that?!

Also, just behind the scenes knowledge about the industry and how it works. For example, before I published STRONG, I had no idea that there were different marketing tracks for books (commercial vs school & library) and that some books get both and some only get one if any. It was a big shock for me
I’m not sure what kind of presentation you’re putting together, but I’m always interested in behind the scenes industry data/info and fun insights. Peeks behind the curtain. Like how many submissions do agents typically get in a month? How many clients do they normally represent on average?
