Absolute long shot, but if there is anyone in the Chicago community that has solid leads on any product manager positions, it would be greatly and personally appreciated.
Just me giggling bc I found out the genus name for Robins is Turdus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America...
wtf is wrong with people. It doesn’t even have caffeine. It’s literally just a shot of pickle juice.

This is what other birds might see when they annoy a White-breasted Nuthatch by daring to be at a feeder. The #WingsOpenNotFlying theme works for today's #BirdOfTheDay. 🪶
Ah the magical moment when a magnetar is conceived by sperm neutrinos fertilizing a neutron star egg
This site needs a break. Post 3 good things, none of which are the cessation of a negative.
1. cats
2. birds
3. flowers
Hunter dog does this thing occasionally where he’ll wake one of us up in the middle of the night for water. We want to be annoyed, but then he does the cutest fucken thing ever. He slowly creeps up to you in the bed, flips over on his side and gives the gentlest kisses ever.
I freaking knew we’d get more frosts. These don’t appear to last very long so hopefully not much damage.
My instinct is always “ who the fuck you talking to”, but I guess that is unprofessional.
Trump always did say they got along theweek.com/speedreads/4...
Oh shit. I’m so jealous. Work has an operation out there and I’ve been trying to find justification to go for 3 years .
Are you Nevada ? I wouldn’t think a pacific island spider could survive there.
You rock!
DC friends: if you’re coming to Awesome Con this weekend, come say hi! My first Solar System Ambassador event of 2026 is a talk on exoplanets in fact & science fiction! My talk is 10:15 AM on Saturday. I’ll link info below.
I just had some loud giggles from this today. Thank you I needed it.
Is it invasive there? We’ve got our related Joro spider invasion. I swear they are 1/2 spiders I see now in just 4 years since they arrived.
My mulberry #bonsai is waking up. Unfortunately I’m pretty sure this is a male so no berries in my future. It’s still it beautiful tree with lovely leaves.
For sure. Some subtle things come through I might not have even noticed if I was just hearing them.
It’s birb nesting season. This spot is a choice location. We have nesting birds here every season and sometimes 2-3 pairs using it in the same year.
Ah makes sense. I get every nursery catalog in the mail you can imagine.
Looks like he’s doing a new commando and predator too! I like the new Conan the best though.
Oh shit, there is finally a seedless muscadine vine. We’ve already got a wild muscadine, but I couldn’t pass on a seedless one. Looks like Gurney’s has the patent so you probably can’t buy them elsewhere yet. www.gurneys.com/products/oh-...
Yall!!! We just had meeting from all the folks from the community garden and I manage. They all signed this in secret and gave it to me. Tryna make me cry in front of 30 people ain’t fair.
Man I can’t believe oldest is graduating high school in 2 months. Kid is so bright, beautiful, and kind. I’m so proud of her.
Same, but we are right on the border of 7/8. I’m unsure if they can produce bc they fruit very late in the season. Same reason I don’t grow citrus hardy to our zone. I’m still trying.
You guys! I’m so proud of myself. About 5ish years ago I talked these hard core conservatives into planting a bunch of natives in their yard based on looks alone. This morning they’re sending me all these beautiful pics of them in bloom.
Gotta learn how to prune the pomegranate now. This is 2nd season. I wasn’t too worried bc they are a bush and not a tree. FYI, there are multiple varieties hardy to zone 7 now, but I think you need to be close to zone 8 to get fruit.🌱
Gotten used to subtitles always on while watching tv. Really enjoy the descriptions of music.
Worth a shot. It’s great half day to get shit done outside the house.
