I’ve printed some new tiny prints ahead of the Bath Independent (Sunday 18th May) and BS4 Arts trail (14-15 June). Tiny but satisfying to carve and print! I printed them onto khadi handmade paper.

It’s the People’s art fair in Stokes Croft, Bristol 2nd - 11th May open 12-6 daily and I’ve got a few lino prints there. Free entry and lots of cool artwork to see from local artists. Opening night Thursday 1st May 6-9pm, hopefully see you there!

Ooh joining the #printpromptmonday party a day late but I do have a print that fits the theme of #foliage my little money plant print that I made when trying different ways to represent my (now dead) moneyplant!
The print itself is on paper approx 14x14cm printed in green ink on Ho sho paper

Had time after a busy and intense couple of weeks to carve one of the linocuts I drew at a life drawing class a few weeks back. It’s a blind contour I made on a piece of lino about 15 x 10cm. I’ve no idea how it will reflect the drawing I made, but enjoy most is the process. #printmaking #bristol

Making more books with prints! This time I’ve extended the folded part further, and used one of my tree lino prints to cut out the most interesting strip. Once folded, it’s like having a tree in your pocket! 🌳🍃

Ooh one for this weeks #printpromptmonday the prompt is #inmotion I made some drawings in a life drawing class and drew over the top of several poses which created a kind of motion. I made three separate lino cuts to print over each other, just because. It didn’t really work, but I like the chaos!

Had fun at home today today making some books, inspired by the day I had at @bathartistprintmakers led by @k.bernstein2
I used an old print of mine, and pages from a book to cover the concertina. Lots more to investigate and get into, but lots of fun making these today ☺️

Buzzing with ideas after the book making taster day yesterday at @bathartistprintmakers and led by @k.bernstein2 SUCH a good day and made all these books! I was able to use an old screen print as end papers in the larger book

I’ve finally braved the Fabriano sketchbook with this, a repeat from a random drawing I made last week. I thought I’d transfer the original drawing to lino and make a carving, but I decided to transfer it to this beautiful book. It’s such lovely thick paper, I’m half tempted to go wild with paint
