I'm looking back at some of the summer films of twenty years ago.

K.O. (2025) Ciryl Gane. Alice Belaïdi. Only on Netflix June 6th.

Was K.O. on anyone's radar?? Completely by the books French genre action film in the best way. Some excellent fights in this! Ciryl Gane is fuck-huge Reacher big, performing some gnarly combos, throws/suplexes. Great club fight (yes another one) and epic finale. This is the DTV goods we love!

Once at the 20 min mark. After the 40 min, just a few minutes at 450f, charring both sides. Honestly I left it on high a few minutes too long, but I kinda dig “just shy of burnt” when I’m grilling. The inside came out as great as expected though so it’s fine

to the madness! I get all my steaks from the reduced meat bin. That tomahawk was like 26 bucks. Lobster and fish on Memorial Day sale. This woulda cost like 200-300 bucks at a restaurant but I only paid 60

This lobster tail was astonishing. Forgot to take a close up pic when it finished cooking but it was meaty and restaurant succulent. Red Snapper was hittin too

Found a simple tomahawk reverse sear recipe, set grill at 275f, cook 40 min, then high temp flame. Always had trouble grilling chicken (undercooked or burnt), then I realized I could just do likewise. Halfway through steak roast, put drums in 20 min slow roast then ~10 on higher heat. Came out great

Oh good, I got it for 66% off, winning and I don’t even know it!
