The sky is not falling but your “leadership “ laughable. What will happen with your hair on fire approach; unruly and unregulated forestry; coupled with secrecy. Communities without water or future once the forest are utterly destroyed. City folk need to see the real devastation for themselves.

When the water is gone, the soils no longer providing ground to grow, disregard for the current science in hydrology;attempts of communities to have a say in their collective future disregarded completely in favour of an old industrial policy scope which will leave us far poorer and desperate.

Why; one has to ask… is a FOI required? A question that answers itself. Publicly financed stats and research should not be behind an expensive paywall.

We applaud FireSmart: Changing home cladding begs the question about single wide trailers and manufactured homes which are chemical torches on our landscapes often located on the shores of our lakes. PFSA (forever chemical) contamination is not easily remediated, if at all. Nor counted as hazard.
