Ok but I want carol
Could you, dear anglos, explain to me why the post-apocalyptic Spain of this shabby zombie universe seems cosplayed from the twisted vision that Americans have of Mexico, and straight out of a folklorized version of the 1930s Spain?
I was so excited for Duster and from what I’ve heard from others, it was incredible. We didn’t get it in the UK before the cancellation and I could not be more disappointed. But I’m so grateful for your work and I’ll still look forward to season 1 when I can see it 💜
A new #TaylorSwift album potentially releasing as Daryl and Carol are trying to get home... The #TWDFamily who are Swifties ARE SO BACK!!!
Carol Peletier is not a fucking side character.
What about Carol Peletier? Valhalla is supposed to be about empowering women and this promo lately is doing the opposite.
DUSTER. Airs Thurs May 15th on HBO MAX 9pmEST/6pmPST!
DUSTER First Look! Thanks @thr.com for the awesome interview about the show. Coming to your TVs very soon! 👇🏽

I still miss Angela Kang. #TWDCaryl
Excited to see Lauren Cohan's directoral debut. That's pretty much it though. Wish #TWD treated their women better more often and hired more female writers and showrunners.
my favourite twd showrunner ❤️
I miss Angela Kang.
All the excitement this could have is quickly removed by the fact you're calling this show #TWDDarylDixon and centring it all around the male lead, instead of both Carol & Daryl. It feels like a slap in the face to anyone who is a fan of Carol. It puts me off watching. #TWDCaryl
#TWDCaryl have a dedicated fanbase who AMC are alienating by excluding Carol from the title and denying #MelissaMcBride equal billing with her co-star. We want a spinoff that puts Carol & Daryl at the centre and treats them as equals. The #DarylDixon title tells us not to watch.
With everything so seemingly terrible these days & no sign of anything remotely hopeful in the near future, I thought you might need this photo of a baby giraffe.
Melissa was the only thing that kept me watching #TheBookOfCarol and will be the only reason *if* I watch season 3 (I probably won't bc you won't treat her how she deserves and the writing is not good).
It's 2025 and a show with a female co-lead (who carried #TheBookOfCarol) is named after the male lead's character only while the woman isn't even included in a subtitle now? Bare minimum shit. Melissa McBride deserves better. Women deserve better. Do better #AMC.
No 😭 I saw it too
Also. The worst thing that happened to #TWDCaryl spinoff was naming it #DarylDixon??? What the actual fuck lol.
I never come here, but let my most important bluesky tweet of 2024 be to say that Melissa McBride is a fucking QUEEN and a TREASURE. And she is the BEST thing that has happened to #TWDCaryl spinoff show. Queen queen queen shit. I love her.
YES! We're Team #Caryl forever. ❤️
Oh this Scully/Carol comparison is on point and on time! 😍
I'm excited to see Melissa McBride nominated for Best Actress. I am a bit confused why #AMC didn't give her equal billing and why the title is her male co-star's character only ( #DarylDixon), especially now #TheBookOfCarol subtitle is scrapped for season 3. The female co-star should be equal...
Making an appearance on this app to celebrate yet again Melissa McBride being nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress in a Television Series ✨️😭♥️ She deserves every single bit of it.
#MelissaMcBride #TWDCaryl #TheBookOfCarol
And I agree with you. For me, it was only ever Carol or no one for Daryl. Then I briefly felt okay about Connie when I thought Carol & Daryl were just platonic bc she married someone else. Now I think it's Carol or no one again. I also see Daryl as at least demisexual and not very driven by romance.
I haven't seen anyone genuinely believe that Daryl and Isabelle or Daryl and Leah were romantically suitable. I've only seen people say it either to troll or because they're just glad Daryl had a romance at all.
#MelissaMcBride just got nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress. Not supporting actress. She is co-lead alongside Norman Reedus. So, where is her equal billing, and why does the title #DarylDixon exclude her character? It's workplace sexism. Do better. #TWDCaryl #TheBookOfCarol
Fans have been vocalising their views online. In particular, we are disappointed by the lack of an inclusive title or equal billing for the female co-lead (Melissa McBride & her character Carol), as well as the way the writing positions stereotypical male POVs over female empowerment. (2/2)
Thank you for sharing this @galeannehurd.bsky.social. I really appreciate the work you do for women in this genre. Many fans feel hurt by #TWDCaryl spin-off and how it has treated its female characters, actors, and fans. Your support to improve this would mean a great deal. (1/2)
