I know this one is gonna be on a lot of people's top-whatever lists at the end of the year, and I get it. It's at times fun(ny), thrilling, intense, etc.

It's also a horny ass movie in a very specific, very unsexy, very disgusting way.

To be clear, I don't think every movie that could be described as "...a movie made by a white man, about white men, for white men" is inherently bad, but it should be honest about what it is, so I can be honest about how to engage with it. The ways in which it fits that description matters a lot.

It's possible to acknowledge the level of skill and/or craft that went into making a thing, and also find the shit repulsive on some levels. #OneBattleAfterAnother is a movie made by a white man, about white men, for white men, with Black and brown people used as--well, just used really.

I got some standalone soil moisture sensors to replace my homemade ones. These run off a single AA battery, that should last “a year,” where mine had to be plugged in.

Right?! I'm hoping the short season and that ending means they already have the rest in the can and just need to put it out. 🤷🏾‍♂️
