First attempt at red bean paste Mochi from scratch. They were delicious, but need to work on my presentation a bit next time.

6. Tidy up the lines before finishing with a layer of satin or gloss varnish.

4. Paint on some darker lines in the centre of the thicker lines. Try to keep the lines shaky and add some randomness. 5. Carefully paint a lighter colour underneath the dark lines in some areas (especially at joins or curves).

2. Wet the surface with a film of clean water. 3. Use a very thin paint (shades work well) to draw on some thick lines. The water on the surface will help diffuse the edges of the lines

Next on the painting desk is the Gallowdark terrain. Decided on a 2-tone paint scheme.... After fiddling with masking for several hours, the reason escapes me now!

Painting cloaks with lots (and lots) of horizontal lines is time consuming, but I'm liking the effect so far. #warhammercommunity
