Last week, Canadian journalist Rachel Gilmore was approached by 2 men (one a SELF-DESCRIBED NAZI) who attempted to intimidate her over a story she wrote about their white nationalist gym club.
We stand in solidarity with Rachel & call on all news organizations to denounce this! ✊
Journalist Estefany Rodriguez has a valid work permit and was meeting with ICE later this month regarding her immigration status.
Yesterday, she was abducted by ICE agents without an arrest warrant.
This is another attack on the free press and we call for Estefany's immediate release!
A new study from @readthemaple.com shows that Canadian media have a 25-year history of claiming Iran is close to acquiring nuclear weapons.
This is important context for the current American-Israeli attack on Iran and our media's response.

-January 18th, journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort covered a protest at a church in Minnesota.
-January 22nd, a judge declined the DOJ bid to charge them.
-January 23rd, an appeals court again rejected the criminal complaint.
-Today, both journalists are arrested regardless.
The illegal arrest of journalist Don Lemon marks a new level of press suppression in the United States.
