Eventually, this leads girls and women to police each other and themselves. The self-policing and parasocial anxiety prevent women and girls from accumulating power, resources, and influence. (2)

Teaching girls to be compliant teaches them that their value lies in pleasing others. They learn to make themselves smaller, exchanging their wants and needs for a perpetual state of what-do-people-want-from-me anxiety. (1)

This administration wants to make the country fertile again. You know what would make me fertile?

*quality affordable childcare
*fully funded public schools
*a partner who contributes equally to housework and childcare
*a village
*less gun violence
*a habitable planet
* Making empathy cool again

Criticizing the government doesn’t make you un-American. Criticizing Israel doesn’t make you anti-Israel or antisemitic. The deportation/detention of legal migrants who criticize Israel is a litmus test… For all of us.
