Last Saturday I had the pleasure of teaching 21 people how to draw maps by hand! 🗺️✍️

This was at Elvet & Bailey, in Durham, UK.

I’m looking into how I can deliver map drawing workshops online, since not everyone lives in the northeast of England!

Ah ok. Perhaps once I have a bigger range of maps to sell, but the trouble with in-person fairs is the cost. Usually stalls cost quite a lot by themselves, and then there’s travel and accommodation to factor in too. I don’t even do markets in London because they’re prohibitively expensive.

This year it was #maps of #Viking Britain, Devon coastlines, Ports & Madeiras, and a private commission for a book.

What will 2025 bring? 🤔 #Oxford University, a private fantasy map commission, a World Pride Map, and if I have time, City of #York, and some county maps.

Thanks so much! I can ship to India, and have done a few times - probably 5 whisky maps, and 2 moon maps overall.
I very much recommend paying a bit extra for tracked or courier delivery though.
