Still worrying that there's no news on the Bundesliga rights. However, I did DM the Sky team on the other platform and got this response. Odd how they say 'new' since they've shown it exclusively since 2021. And more worrying that there's still no announcement, or sign of one.

No doubt an upgrade on Leroy Sané but if it does work (will probably look to replace him in 3 years), then that's a big outlay of money.

🇫🇷 Liverpool have announced the signing of Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt.
💰 He joins for €95m, making him Frankfurt's joint record sale.
🇩🇪 This is Liverpool's 3rd signing from the Bundesliga following the earlier arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
Galatasaray have spent €76.65m on transfers in the last two seasons, Gabriel Sara being their biggest outlay (€18m). Victor Osimhen and Álvaro Morata (~€6m salary) also joined on loan. Not to mention that Osimhen is expected to join permanently for €75m. Millot won't come cheap, either.

Replacing him last summer after Streich's departure, Schuster has taken Freiburg back into Europe, averaging 1.65 PPM.

What's not to like about Freiburg? From Christian Streich (12 years as head coach in his only managerial role) to Jochen Saier, who's been at the club since '03 - and has been sporting director since '14. And now, they've extended Julian Schuster's contract. A club legend in his first coaching role.

🔥 Eintracht Frankfurt have done it again.
They've spent €16.5m on three strikers and made €265m.

Very impressive signing by RB Leipzig. Beat both Leverkusen and Dortmund (although I'm not sure how concrete BVB's interest was) to sign Belgian Johan Bakayoko for €22m. Yan Diomande also arrives from Leganes. If they keep Sesko and Openda, they look strong heading into next season.

Borussia Dortmund getting ~€65m from Chelsea for Jamie Gittens, I think is excellent business. Obviously has a high ceiling, but just doesn't suit Niko Kovac's style of football, and played a bit-part role towards the end of the season. Started just 5 of 12 games in the Bundesliga under Kovac.

I have been quietly impressed with the work that Augsburg are doing. Appointed Sandro Wagner as their new head coach, and today confirmed the arrival of Benni Weber - a former analyst under Tuchel at M05, BVB, PSG & Chelsea - as sporting director from Paderborn. Is known for his youth development.

Bayern Munich have tonight reached an agreement with Nick Woltemade. Don't expect him to move on the cheap though. Stuttgart should command a fee between €50m-€60m. Has been one of the Bundesliga's best performers.

Nick Woltemade is such a unique profile. 6'6", but he's way more than just a target man. Excellent movement, loves dropping deep but remains a threat in the box. Enjoying a breakout season in his first year at Stuttgart: 33 games, 17 goals, 3 assists.
6G, 3A in the Euro U21 tournament, too.
The football still doesn't escape me. OFI Crete's Theodoros Vardinogiannis Stadium (It's extremely run down). They'll be playing at the Pancretan Stadium from next season.
