A lot has to be understood, which involves getting the hang of XML files. Each hiccup makes me want to punch my screen. Luckily, everyone and everything is safe. Thanks to the community members 'viking' and 'faeran', who created the original theme for Launchbox; my inspiration.

A work in progress, the artwork shows the system screen for the NES console, to be part of a theme I am creating for Batocera; an operating system for playing retro video games.

I started building a retro console a year ago. After playing on multiple operating systems, I've chosen Linux-based Batocera as my go-to OS. Then I thought, how about I make a theme for the OS?! So, here we go. The first screen for NES. By the end of the year, I plan to finalise this theme.

Just dropping by to say hello and tell you all I am still losing, got better at dodging though.

DRM can be cracked easily so I don't see why it should be pushed aggressively. Not to mention some DRM systems eat up resources like there's no tomorrow.

Miss those times when clicking exe files would instantly open up the game, unlike Ubisoft Connect or Battlenet that would take forever to fire up the game.

After burning Age 3 Definitive Edition for over 1000 hours, I'm so excited for the remastered Age of Mythology. Wanted to try the new Age 4 first, but nothing beats going back to a game I loved playing as a kid.
