All that being said, sometimes having slow growth really isn't as bad as many people portray it as. Trust me.

Sadly, that's exactly what happened to my aforementioned moot. Despite all of the positive feedback she got, the hate got to her way more. She is too sensitive and kind-hearted, and didn't want to be perceived anymore, so she deactivated all of her socials. +

But you don't really get that type of grace when you suddenly have a ton of eyes on you. If you haven't had the chance to grow a thick skin prior to it, especially as a younger person, that stuff could easily start to eat you from the inside out and you might even end up quitting everything. +

Repeat the process, and hate comments start to not faze you at all. Sometimes, you might even start doing a little trolling and get some content out of them. +

You get maybe one or two hate comments occasionally on your YouTube/TikTok shorts, and maybe it feels a bit bad at first, but eventually you learn to move on. +

Growing a bigger viewerbase slowly and steadily gives you a huge opportunity to ease into inevitable hate, amongst other very uncomfortable things. +

A lot of small content creators are chasing after that one moment where they blow up and gain thousands of followers overnight. But what a lot of people don't consider is the sudden wave of hate that comes with it. +

I've seen something happen the other day to one of my moots, and it made me remember something about gaining huge fame and popularity overnight that not many people talk about. 🧵 +

The fact that you can buy food on TEMU is very alarming.
