Coming Soon: Tax Revolt (originally launched into cyberspace on 11/16/2008) Dang it! I was going to send this e-mail earlier, before I had heard anyone else saying this. Well, now someone else--someone with a pretty darn good record of predicting stuff--is saying it. Oh well. In short, I think very soon you will see a national tax revolt. Now, I wish that it would happen as a result of millions of people finding out they don't actually OWE federal income taxes. I'd settle for some philosophical-based revolt, like the American Revolution, where they oppose being robbed on principle. But I'm afraid it will be simpler even than that: people will be running out of money (or what passes for money these days), and the government will be too stupid to reduce its extortionist practices-- in fact, it will try to steal much MORE from people (especially with Barack Ostalin in office), because "government" never thinks that it should do with less.

It was a robot mother. X was not a robot, but the experience of being carried in a robotic womb would forever leave them with heightened empathy towards artificial intelligence, which is now a hot-button issue that will be discussed in detail later on. But at that moment, the only hot-button the baby genius was pondering was the nuclear button, as X had little faith in the then-current president of America’s restraint. After all, there were numerous remarks that the young X was now citing in their head, and having catalogued them all, they put the position of the doomsday clock in that moment at a precise 11:29 PM. Just then, a dog somewhere in the hospital barked, and in a moment of complete infant-mindedness, X adjusted the position of the doomsday clock 5 minutes closer to midnight. It was this weakness to being scared, and more specifically spookification by dog that would eventually drive them to madness. But thats a story that will start much later, likely in volume 5 or 6.

I accidentally forgot to feed my young child. My 5 year old son went without dinner the other day. I was scrolling LinkedIn for 6 hours in the evening and ignored his cries. In fairness, LinkedIn influencers are trained to grab my attention using clickbait. He is not. That's when it clicked for him - he needed to up his game. He needed to use clickbait. Instead of saying "I'm hungry father", he sent me messages like: "Here's 4 Damning Reasons You Should Feed Me Right Now" "10 More Minutes Without Dinner, And The Worst Catastrophe Could Take Place" "This Poor Child Went Unfed, You Won't Believe What Happened Next" It worked. I never neglected him again. Sometimes, starving your infant child can be a good thing if he gains some transferable skills. He's now ready for the modern world.
