3 NPCs, a snazzy dressed woman, a grumpy old sailor, and a dapper bearded man. They are rendered in a chunky low poly style with a mix of flat vertex colors and simple textures

I think of Angeline Era's character art as "gestural" vertex colors: big blocks of gradients and hard edges that loosely gesture at finer details. They are often seen very small on the screen, so it helps them not appear over-detailed. But I also think it looks beautiful up close!

Klefki with four quadrepedal nubs like legs and a brass body. Vines are wrapped around the keyring, holding berries and leaves, and the ring is arranged to resemble antlers.

KLEFKI-JOHTO - STEEL/GRASS

It collects the best-tasting berries and stores them on its brass antlers. It normally has a sweet temperament, but they've been seen chasing down URSARING who trampled their favorite berry bush.

THE SNEAKS

Camerupt with bangs over its eyes, blue fur with dark blue trim, red fiery symbols, and a single hump emitting steam. --- While normally calm, if provoked boiling steam erupts from its back that can cook in egg in a quarter-second. It seems shy about exposing its true eyes.

Squat Numel that's dark brown, with a wavy blue pattern on its legs and hump. Steam comes out of its back. --- They live in herds in hot water springs, shielded from predators. They have a transparent lower eyelid that allows them to see while protecting their eye from the steam.

i really like them

A light purple Venonat with sparkling pink eyes, fluffy antennae, and little wings sticking out from near its eyes. --- It communicates with others of its kind by flickering the colors of its eyes. If you're lucky enough to come across a group of them, the resulting display is dazzling.

akin to Venonat, but with a cat-like mouth, claws, and huge fuzzy wings with psychadelic colors and shapes. --- Its mesmerizing eyes can trap foes in worlds of hallucinations. Those with weak minds will begin to worship PSYCHONAT as a god.
