I was all ready to get the full sized version of just the lemon meringue but then I saw the single serving pies. I was so excited!!!

I just finished the chocolate mousse pie. It was delicious!

Late to work this morning so Pie Shoppe stop was put on hold … but got sent home from work early due to someone’s 🤷🏻‍♀️ request to reduce our energy consumption! Pies for all!! (Clockwise starting top leg - coconut cream meringue, lemon meringue, Dutch apple, chocolate mousse)

I am now so very much going in the opposite direction of work and stopping at the Pie Shoppe in Laughlintown tomorrow morning. I need pie.

A big shout out for all of the Pennsylvania poll workers! Just finished closing out my tiny precinct We started out super slow but finished w/38.37% turnout - which exceeded projections for (est to be 25-30%).

Thanks. I’ll be back in the office tomorrow. Been home since last Monday. I’ve been sleeping 12-16 hours a day but I am feeling better. Went to the doc as soon as symptoms came on & got on the tamiflu, which helped tremendously.

Dear Flue A: you kicked my ass this week. Truly. I have never felt as bad, tired, weak, achey as I have this week. I’m sorry I forgot to get my flu shot in November when I have done so for the past 45+ years. It won’t happen again. And while I’m still tired/weak, w/an awful cough, I’ll remember.
