Oh bluesky, what am I to do with you? We had such high hopes of building an alternative universe to the meta world... Things seem to be falling flat around here. At least for me. *LeSigh*
I'm not a selfie guy, really. You won't get too many of these from me, but I had to take a headshot for an upcoming (soon to be revealed) podcast appearance promo, so I thought I'd share. I turn 47 in less than two weeks. I'm still looking okay, right? Right??? LOL

Venus Over Manhattan. ...another canary in the coal mine, dead as a door nail.

Blum shuttering all of its brick and mortar spaces is a bit of a canary in the coal mine moment, for sure.
For something that's arguably the basis of life itself, not that many artists engage with mitosis. Thank goodness there's me artologica.substack.com/p/mitosis-mo... 🐡🦠🧪🎨

This is the first of many in a series of affordable landscape paintings based around locations that are well loved by locals and tourists alike. "River Inn" 6X8 inches, oil on cradled birch panel. I will mainly be targeting the tourist market with these over the course of the Summer.
I am thankful to have art as my foundation for enduring this world. I may not be rich, but I'm alive inside. I'm not on autopilot, waiting for the weekend. Every second counts.
It's hard to even call it a "practice" anymore. After more than 25 years of going hard it is simply... My life. #Art
I'm in a studio flow again where I'm working on multiples in tandem. This makes for better productivity and more efficient use of the paint. Let's see how long I can keep it up!
I posted this last night, but in case anyone missed it...
