No pressure at all, but I’m giving a talk next Saturday at my first Mythopoeic seminar, which is nerve-wracking in itself, and here am I sandwiched in between the two rock stars that are Sara Brown and Kristine Larsen. Lolilol everything’s fine.

That phrasing was really strange. I meant a renewed interest *from people around me*. I've never stopped being interested in those illustrations!

From my perspective, it's not so much a question of interest (I'm interested in anything you write) as one of "do you have the energy / mental space / will this benefit your PhD directly?" Because an Oxonmoot conference is a lot of work and you already have a lot of work.

This Barbie is feeling very lucky to have such amazing friends on her birthday. Look what @cstrnk.bsky.social got me—a first edition, *illustrated* German Silmarillion! It's the second copy of this book I own that I can't read. 🥰 And this cover never ceases to confusticate me.

Today I finally decided to copy my bibliography into my thesis manuscript, making it pass the 400-page mark!
(Of course, I immediately found a missing reference and had to add it both in the thesis MS and in the original bibliography document that I want to keep up-to-date.)

I thought I had a translation ready somewhere, but it appears I haven't, so it's something I could do. I'm afraid it wouldn't be as prettily laid out as that professionally-made booklet is. I'll consider doing that in the not-too-distant future !
