Smithsonian removes Trump from impeachment exhibit in American history museum A temporary placard, on display since 2021, described the president's historic impeachments. Officials said the exhibit was restored to an earlier version following a review of legacy content.

As president you can just rewrite history. LOL.

Incidents happen because people do things that have always worked successfully, up until the incident. Doing something that always worked in the past is completely rational!

Trump Flames Musk as Bitter Feud Reignites The president hit back at the Tesla CEO, who has savaged Republicans’ “big, beautiful” spending bill.

Musk is on X complaining about the “Big Beautiful Bill” again and Trump has dismissed him as just being salty because there aren’t EV tax credits in it.

Ironic to spend $250M getting the Leopards Eating Faces Party elected only for them to eat your face.

This is not what democracy looks like. We're well on our way to "dear leader" territory.

This article links tech layoffs that started in 2022 to a Section 174 change in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which ended immediate R&D write-offs.

The assumption was companies using savings from the tax cuts to cover the increased tax bill on R&D spending. Instead they’ve cut headcount.

Trump officials delayed farm trade report over deficit forecast Administration officials blocked publication of written analysis that normally accompanies the report because they disliked what it said about the deficit.

Economic reports are being delayed and redacted for running counter to the narrative that tariffs are helping the economy and fixing trade deficits.

As more damage from Trump’s policies hurts the economy, the more censorship and manipulation of data will occur.

The Trump administration is well on its way to applying the philosophy of “If we stop testing, we’ll have fewer cases” from the COVID era to economic data.

I expected this to happen during his first administration and was surprised when it didn’t. It looks like it’s happening this time around.
