Our next assembly meeting is coming up! Come sit, build community and also let’s start to network to help each other for the times ahead.

This past Sunday, we hosted our inaugural community party at Scherer Park! We had a modest turnout: food was eaten, games were played and connections were made! What a fun day, being outside and just enjoying each others’ company. Thank you to everyone who came out!

Mayor Jones and his fellow elected council folk (they say "elected" despite no term limits) rolled their eyes and avoided eye contact in a blatant display of disrespect when activists spoke about their concerns 3/6

It was eye-opening, but not surprising, that the council of a city founded a hundred years ago to avoid oil taxes didn't see the merit in a long-standing sustainability committee. 2/6

Last night, members of the Assembly, in solidarity with Climate Brunch, Signal Hill and Long Beach residents, attended a Signal Hill City Council meeting. 1/6

WHY ARE WE HERE IF NOT FOR EACH OTHER?

Community helps us, community saves us. Looking out for your neighbors is one of the most rewarding and dependable things you can do. It also lets people sleep better, eat better, live better.

We stand unflinchingly with our communities and in defense of those targeted by the kidnappers and their raids. No one is illegal, especially on stolen land. Take care of each other however you are able. We are in this together and can only depend on each other.
