"An escapee from a lunatic asylum, convinced he's a doctor, returns to his hometown and begins killing teenagers. It isn’t hard to see why this potential franchise was given a do-not-resuscitate order."

I remember being horribly disappointed by this one. It was the movie that made me realize the fun of the eighties was really over. (I’ve watched it a couple times since to see if it’s any better. It will always just be a “meh” flick for me.)

I actually wanted to do the video with Vincent in the tree behind me, but he refused to climb in it. He’s been jumping in and out of it all month.

19.12.2025 11:05 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0One of the more bizarre slashers, definitely influenced more by H.G. Lewis than John Carpenter. Why does the main cop scream all his lines? Brad Carter wrote an excellent novelization that’s a must read for fans of the flick.
