I used to care so much about not wanting to offend anyone and/or hurting other people’s feelings but with the recent events going on in the world, that has gone completely out the window. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are few feelings that compare to walking into someone else’s home and seeing art you made and gifted to them. This is my favourite neighbor in the world’s chihuahua, Creature “Creed”. 🩵

AI art is not art at all.

After work, I usually do some personal sewing to wind down. Tonight I did something a little different -- a little kakapo painting! I think I'll keep doing little paintings, this was nice :)

For the first time in my life, I found a dog whose parents did not want her back when she was returned, making me a mom of two dogs again. This is Moxie.

The right when children are kidnapped by ICE: “Well, if their parents weren’t doing XYZ, then they wouldn’t have to take them!”

And yes, being cool with other POC but in the same breath, saying it’s not okay to date them/mix cultures is nothing short of racist, no matter how you justify it in order to help yourself sleep at night. Also, doing so in the name of “Jesus” is laughable.

My family can shame me for my choices all they want but at least I can confidently say I’m not a disrespectful, racist, homophobic, Puerto Rican MAGA cult member who has my head so far up my own ass that I don’t realize the administration hates me as much as they do any other brown person.

I need another night of making unhinged Kandi with my best friend.

Sometimes, I’m ashamed to tell people that I was born and raised in Alabama. The way the majority of people act here is so embarrassing and I always feel the need to explain my lore so people know I am not one of them. Ugh.

Hold on to hope

The only thing kids should be worried about is having fun; not if ICE is going to come wrongfully kidnap them or their family. I am so disgusted with what we are living right now.

There is no lighter feeling as an artist than when you finally finish a commission piece and can send it the heck out of your house to its new home. I’m so proud of my last pet portrait but I’m happy to see it go.
