Nice soft light this evening had me getting pics of Nimona the hybrid pine snake (black pine x bullsnake). She’s got her dad’s head and peachy background color…but her mom’s placid demeanor and filling in her dark colors.

More #plantfur fun: yote has a plant with a shared name in bloom again, Coyote Tobacco! Do not smoke it…
And, the first ripe Sikkim Cucumber! Also known as rusty cucumber, really immature fruits are completely brown with white lattice cracks.

Not necessarily pure ammonia, but similar compounds. They’re common in sharp-scented plants.

#plantfur post: my Organ Pipe Cactus seedlings are finally starting to become recognizable as that species. Still many, many years from maturity tho :)

Embron comes in two forms; the standard one is coyote, but the other (that actually developed first) is a metamorphing dragon. He hates conflict, but also if someone threatens him or his friends he's not shy about dropping the sky on them.
