You know what'd be a really neat feature for Unity, an engine that AA games are made on? The ability to duplicate a file or object without using the fucking Windows Explorer.

After literally 3 hours... I have succeeded in giving myself a new, spiked collar.

That should NOT have been that hard.

It's a total nightmare.

There's SO MUCH background knowledge you need to have to do the simplest thing. Even just swapping some textures is a huge undertaking.

There's basically no tutorials, no documentation, and when things fail, they usually do so totally silently. Plus when some code breaks, I can restore the project to working in seconds with Git.

Here I have to struggle to copy files back manually.

I legit think that Unity/VRC avatar creation has a worse learning curve than C++, and I'm not even remotely joking.

I'm not sure why people keep inviting me to their room parties at MFF when they all end up going like this... 😮‍💨🥴
