Understanding this reality makes the gospel message of Scripture much easier to understand.

If a Christian church, denomination or organization is identified as anything other than leaning what is currently considered left/woke, then we must suspect whether the spirt of Christ is found within that body.

We don’t have to agree with all of it, but the love of neighbor should be prominent.

Unfortunately, Mr. MacArthur was very popular in the 1990s Southern Baptist realms, and his damaging ‘reformed theology’ still has its hold within the SBC. This articles gripes about many of the views still held by SBC members.

Sadly, too many Christians fail to know the Scriptural language concerning the LGBTQIA (Lev 18 & 20, Rom 1, 1Cor 6, 1Tim 1, Jude) or the ancient rite of Adelphopoiesis which used the marriage sacrament.

Personal opinion has crept in resulting in fallacious interpretations & theology.

Would probably be better if they had any standing position in Scripture.

God (Source) created the Son (universal consciousness) within which everything in this reality resides. When we understand this concept that all is in union together, our firstborn sense of ‘self’ dies and our fear or worry of this life (Pharoah) ceases.

It shouldn’t about rules, but harmony.

Unfortunately, many Christians take this story as literal instead of allegorical. The blood represents the awareness of God’s presence within, while the death of the firstborn is the death of our initial, egoic nature.

This story is the same as reflecting being born from above, or a second birth.

Actually, the Bible doesn’t actually teach the bias against the LGBTQIA community that Christians believe.

The Greek terms have been severely mistranslated and taught incorrectly for decades due to a lack of scholarship by non-Greek reading teachers, i.e. the uneducated teaching the uneducated.

Yelling, screaming and boycotting to force conformity to DEI only creates a wider barrier from those who don’t understand the need for it.

A customer base for a national company has to be diverse, and that they implemented DEI at all estranged a portion of their customer base, just as their support of the trans community did. A boycott only shows lack of commitment to them.

Again, a company is dictated by its consumer base. Had the population affected by DEI been steadfast customers, DEI would remain.

A company will not continue to lose support from one consumer branch to support another who will also boycott it at any given issue.

It amazes me that a company who had the courage to implement DEI and sell ‘Pride’ clothing is being boycotted by the left for it not being left enough.

If Target sells enough Pride clothing, they will continue and expand. Target will sway to their customer base, not boycotts.

The acceptance of the LGBTQIA community must start with a proper interpretation of Scripture, particularly Leviticus 18 & 20, 1Cor 6, Romans 1, 1Tim 1 and Jude 1, by the Church.

Until Christians are educated in the original meaning, the bias against that community will always remain.

This bill also denigrates the federal civil service workers by tearing away at their earned retirement, devaluing years of service to the nation. Shameful.

Haha, I fully agree. Seeing that the NT was written in Greek, we could view the logos from either the Greek philosophical or Stoic view of the word, or its representation of a Jewish thought.

I prefer the Greek philosophical ‘divine principle or reasoning’ lending to a NT view of Genesis 1.

This isn’t describing one specific individual, but humanity. We are God’s Word in flesh, Christ within us.

I don’t say this to be argumentative, but as Americans, we must ask ourselves if promoting a 45% federal tax for services is what the majority wishes to undertake.

How many would have to declare bankruptcy losing an additional 30% of their salary in taxes over what they pay now?

France has a 55% personal income tax rate. Great Britain 45%, Italy and Germany 47%, Greece 44%.

If you made $20/hr at a 45% rate, you only clear $11 of that to pay for the ‘free healthcare’ and other national social services.

In the U.S. the average is 15%, clearing $17 of their $20/hr.

It’s also the same weapon used by the far-right. The LGBTQIA is much more accepted than it was 25 years ago, but mentalities sometimes takes generations to change, as we see by the kickback against DEI.

All one has to do is look for ‘Pride’ products on the Target app to see where they still stand.

Businesses have to base on all customers; that includes the current height of uneducated knee jerk against DEI and the LGBTQ community, which most knew was coming.

The reason the pullback is heightened at Target is because they were a forerunner of open acceptance, but minds don’t change overnight.
