SAME.
I have kids, so it's like . . . please can we not?
(I do, however, like attention)
Cute!

This is how I learned that Super Grok is a thing that exists.
What a stupid, stupid reality.
Girl…you literally have to put your records on. Girl pleeeeease put your records on. The records? Girl… put them ON.

Me:
I *do* get it, but I also think being anti-religious is antithetical to a healthy progressive movement.

And I am so genuinely sorry for the hurt you experienced at the hands of the church.
I experienced a bit of "conversion therapy lite" but thankfully nothing to that degree.
None of that erases any of the real harm that has been done in the name of Christianity--but it does make it hard and inadvisable to paint with a broad brush.
04.03.2026 16:38 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0But Christianity is not monolithic. There are progressive denominations that are full of queer people. Christianity played a huge role in the civil rights movement. A lot of the people standing up to ICE across the country (including Renee Nicole Good) have been Christians.
04.03.2026 16:38 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0I don't think it is a magical get out of jail card at all. Those are all very fair and valid critiques. Christianity--or any religion, really--can be used for good or for ill.

04.03.2026 16:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I think the difference is that anti-christian biases are a lot more common than anti-white or misandrist views. The latter two seem to be conservative bogeymen--while the former gets posted on bluesky fairly frequently and seems to get a pass by a lot of progressives.

Crystal Skull is more totally consistent than Temple, but Temple has better action set pieces. The mine cart chase is still such a marvel!

I think it's probably tied with Temple of Doom for me (behind Raiders and Crusade, of course).
The 5th film was kind of a mess. I still enjoyed Harrison Ford's performance, but the film is definitely the weakest in the series.
And I LOVED that they brought back Karen Allen. Marion was always the best of Indy's flames, and I love that she's more that just a brief cameo (which is all she got in the 5th film).
