I've pretty much had to completely re-learn the last 30-40 years of politics as an adult, and it's still wild to me that I was unaware of so much when I was growing up.

This perspective is always helpful to me. I was 14 when the Iraq war started, but because I was in a very conservative home/school/church, my exposure to any anti-war views was very limited.

I work for a company that does custom embroidery and print, and we have had SO many customers send us AI-generated artwork that is physically impossible to recreate.

And then we have a guy on our marketing team who seems unable to do his job without typing every single task as a prompt into AI. 🙃

The more they talk the more it’s clear: this is war for the sake of war by people who glorify war but have never fought in one. That’s sparkling fascism baby!

I'm so sick and tired of dealing with people whose perceptions of reality have been warped by AI (this includes both customers and some of my coworkers).

Ethan Slater might be a shitty person, but he really is super talented.

I'm watching SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical with my kids, and honestly it's pretty great.

I really love that the show never shies away from what an utterly terrible person Selina Meyer is. A lesser show might try to make her problematic but still loveable--but no, she's just completely awful at every turn.

Veep is such a funny show. It's unfortunate how true-to-life it is.

Both Ethan Hawke and Margaret Qualley feel miscast--and his bald cap and her wig are distractingly bad. The screenplay reeks of pretension in all of the wrong ways.

But those are some damn good songs.

I watched Blue Moon tonight, and unfortunately it didn't really work for me.

It's my favorite show to see at a local theater!

It's seriously the most unhinged platform.

Phew. I think the silver lining is that these are not the actions of someone who feels invincible. He's immensely unpopular right now, and he's afraid of facing justice.

The greed and violence of the ruling class are full display, and too many Americans have chosen to just shrug.

Man, I'm just so angry that our president has declared war on Iran. I'm trying not to dwell on my cynicism, but this country is SO stupid and it's embarrassing.
