Very wise to know your limitations. I never drive if my blood sugars are on the lower range of normal as hypos can occur quickly. I have some sugar and wait until it rises before getting behind the wheel.

At 68 I’m definitely not ready to stop driving. I have Type 1 Diabetes so have to get assessed by the GP every year to retain my licence anyway. That’s not a bad thing.

My father voluntarily gave up
his licence. From memory he was about 85 and could still drive well, but felt it was time.
