Ukrainian drones of the 14th UAV regiment struck key gas distribution stations in occupied Luhansk overnight, Shchastia (main supplier for Luhansk TPP), Severodonetsk (critical for Azot chemical plant), and Novopskov. Luhansk TPP has been forced to switch to coal.

Fuel shortages in Russia keep deepening. In Khakassia, the entire network of HTK gas stations has stopped selling Ai-92 to regular customers, only allowing purchases with fuel cards. In Crimea, about half the stations are closed.

For the second day, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is in blackout mode, forced to rely on diesel generators after losing external power. Energoatom says Russia is deliberately keeping it disconnected, despite the power line on the Ukrainian side being fully operational.

Russia launched a drone strike on Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, targeting critical infrastructure. 14 drones were used, leaving around 30,000 without power. Local reports also indicate blackouts in parts of Chernihiv city.

An Axios journalist asked what those working in the Kremlin should know after an attack on Kyiv’s government building. Zelensky answered plainly: first, know where your bomb shelters are. If you do not stop the war, you will need them.

Polish PM Donald Tusk warned that Trump’s optimistic statement on Ukraine regaining its territories should be read carefully. He said the “between the lines” message is less US involvement and more responsibility on Europe to end the war. “The truth is better than illusions,” Tusk wrote.

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck a Russian S-400 “Triumf” system in Kaluga region on the night of Sept 5. Recon units located the air defense complex, after which strike drones destroyed its launcher and radar station.

For the first time ever, Ukraine’s HUR “PRYMARY” unit destroyed two Russian Be-12 “Chaika” anti-submarine amphibious aircraft during a strike in occupied Crimea on Sept 21. These rare aircraft carry expensive sonar and tracking systems. A Mi-8 helicopter was also hit in the same operation.

Ukrainian aircraft dropped GBU-62 bombs on Russian assault groups near a mine in the Myrnohrad area. The frontline here remains unstable.
